Depression is common, affecting 10-20% of Americans at some point in their lives. To meet criteria for major depressive disorder (MDD), symptoms must be present for at least 2 weeks. Common symptoms of depression include sad, hopeless feelings throughout most of the day, decreased interest or pleasure in most daily activities, changes in sleep pattern, fatigue, decreased ability to concentrate, feelings of guilt or shame, and suicidal thoughts.

Symptoms of MDD can be debilitating. Sometimes, depression does not respond well to medication treatment, which is sometimes referred to as treatment-resistant depression (TRD).

APG Research is currently enrolling clinical trials for adults with MDD and TRD. Please contact us for more information about these opportunities.

Patients who qualify to participate in a study will receive:

  • Assessments by a Board Certified Psychiatrist
