Depression isn’t just “feeling down.” It can show up as persistent sadness, loss of interest, low energy, sleep or appetite changes, trouble concentrating, and feelings of hopelessness. If current treatments haven’t helped enough, or you’re exploring new options, clinical research may be a fit.
APG Research conducts clinical studies to evaluate investigational medications and treatment approaches for depression in adolescents and adults.
Eligible participants may receive study medication, psychiatric evaluations, and ongoing monitoring at no cost, along with compensation for time and travel.
How the Screening Process Works
Step 1 — Instant Pre-Screen
Speak with a study specialist who will ask a few quick questions to see if the study may be a good fit.
Step 2 — Clinical Evaluation
If eligible, you’ll schedule a psychiatric evaluation at our Orlando research clinic.
Step 3 — Participate in the Study
Qualified participants may receive investigational medication and ongoing monitoring during the study.
You May Qualify If You:
- Are a teen or adult experiencing symptoms of depression
- Have symptoms such as:
- Persistent sadness
- Loss of interest in activities
- Fatigue
- Sleep or appetite changes
- Difficulty concentrating
- Can attend study visits at our Orlando office
