Description
Bipolar disorder is a mental health condition characterized by extreme and unpredictable mood swings. These mood swings involve episodes of mania, characterized by elevated and euphoric moods, and episodes of depression, marked by intense sadness and feelings of hopelessness. Individuals with bipolar disorder may also experience periods of stable or balanced moods between these extremes.
It’s important for individuals with bipolar disorder to work closely with mental health professionals to develop a comprehensive treatment plan and to receive ongoing support to manage their symptoms and maintain stability in their lives.
APG Research is conducting clinical studies to evaluate investigational treatments for bipolar disorder in children and adolescents.
Eligible participants may receive study medication, psychiatric evaluations, and ongoing monitoring at no cost, along with compensation for time and travel.
