Approximately 9% of children in America are diagnosed with attention-deficit / hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and the disorder is more commonly diagnosed in boys than girls. Symptoms may include trouble focusing and completing tasks (inattentive type) or trouble sitting still, restlessness, and impulsiveness (hyperactive type). Sometimes, kids exhibit both inattentive and hyperactive symptoms.

This disorder usually develops during childhood, and persists into adulthood. Medication and behavioral interventions can be helpful, including stimulant therapies.

APG is testing a new, non-stimulant, medication treatment for children ages 6 to 17. Please contact us for more information about this opportunity.

Patients who qualify to participate in a study will receive:

  • Assessments by a Board Certified Psychiatrist
  • Investigational medication at no cost
  • Study-related care and monitoring
  • Compensation for time and travel
